Description
A design for a playing card that's been sitting on my hard drive for too long. I finally knuckled down and made it presentable.
In the unlikely event that I revisit this concept, I'll probably just redo this card as there's a few aspects I don't really like about it. For example, I'd prefer the pelvises to be better lined up than they are now.

Addendum (6/17/2015) ~ Updated picture with redone pips and numbers and a mink-appropriate marking.

In my sequel to "Alice in Wonderland" Casper meets the undead Queen of Clubs. I originally typed in "Queen of Spades", BUT I had to carefully alter the title.
The undead queen avoided dynastic trouble by refusing to die when she became deceased. (Logic is constantly violated in that world). Her entire color scheme is ebon, sable and black. As well as black furniture, black paint, black wallpaper, she has black servants. As "spade" is an old derogatory term for blacks, I was driven by discomfort to change her title to "Clubs". Let some other woman be the Queen of Spades.
Her realm hugs the Western Seas. The aboriginal pre-human peoples (headmen, bivalvular ones and sealion-taurs) dwell there. Also the Western Seas are the scene of the Hunting of the Snark.
